FALL BALL – Junior Golf Open Evening (ages 7 to 15 years)

Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club is pleased to announce its end of season FALL BALL, a new initiative aimed at introducing golf to local youngsters who may not have had the opportunity to play before.  Young golfers of all abilities, however, are also welcome.

SiIver Lakes Director of Golf and 25-year PGA Canada Member Chris Bratten and former Tour Player Jon Kiru will be providing the youngsters with two 45-minute teaching sessions – one on the Aqua Range focussing on basic technique (addressing and hitting the ball), followed by a putting lesson and mini putting competition. 

The FREE TO USE Cobra junior golf clubs are provided by the Golf Gives Back Initiative in partnership with Cobra Junior Golf.  However, if you have your own clubs, please bring those along as well.

The evening is FREE to enter.  However, we ask that parents/guardians make a minimum donation of $20 (per player), collected by Silver Lakes, that will be directly donated to the Golf Gives Back Program, a fantastic initiative that is mobilising the golf community to raise money for the COVID Relief fund and in particular, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, who have been especially affected by the pandemic.  When you register, you can also choose to add a meal combo from our Bistro. Orders taken online will be prepared in advance - just don't forget to add salad or fries!

Your donation will automatically enter you into the Golf Gives Back prize draw, for which the grand prize is a trip for 2 to The Masters 2021.  You will also be entered into the September prize draw, for which the prize is a trip for 2 to Cabot Links in Nova Scotia. Our FALL BALL provides the perfect opportunity to come and try golf with expert instruction from our 2 professional golfers. Parents and guardians can relax on our Bistro patio or watch the young golfers take part in the putting competition – for which there will be prizes! 

Spaces are limited (16 places available – 2 groups of 8) so please book early.  Deadline is Sunday, Sept 27 at 6pm.
